Cliff Tipton
Erda, UT

Cliff grew up in the Intermountain West and now calls Utah his home. He has worked with horses his entire life and began specializing in mustangs about 1996. He enjoys the diversity and challenge of the mustang. He has studied various natural horsemanship techniques and uses many of them in his day to day work in the IWHBA Learning Center in Erda, UT. But still prefers the work of John Sharp and his pole gentling technique as a safe way to begin the gentling process for both handler and horse.
Cliff has done gentling demonstrations for the BLM all over the state of Utah and has even traveled to Arizona and Nevada. He was also one of the leads for the 2002 Olympic Wild Horse & Burro project. Details can be found here: http://www.whmentors.org/oly/oly01.html
Cliff is excited about returning to the 6th Annual Wild Horse Festival of Learning and watching the progression of the horses and participants through the 3 days of activities.
